Reporting a problem

If something does not work, please attach a diagnostics report. In the app, open Information → Share diagnostics and send it to the address above.

The report is plain text you can read before sending. It contains the app version, the device model, the iOS version, your settings, the number of vehicles and entries, and recent error messages. It never contains vehicle names, licence plates, odometer readings, dates or photos.

Frequently asked questions

What is free, and what does Pro add?

Free: one vehicle in all three modes (lease with a total distance, lease with an annual limit, own car), the target versus actual comparison, reminders, and importing a backup. The detail view lists the five most recent entries; the calculations always use all of them.

Mileage Checker Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It adds unlimited vehicles, the full history of all entries, the forecast with its recommendation, and CSV and JSON export.

I bought Pro, but the app does not show it.

Open Settings → Restore purchases. The app asks the App Store for your purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought Pro with.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I move my data to a new iPhone?

Your vehicles and entries are part of your iPhone's own backup, in iCloud or on your computer. If you set up the new iPhone from that backup, the app comes back with its data.

With Pro you can also export a backup file: Information → Export backup as JSON. On the other iPhone, choose Information → Import backup, or Import backup on the empty start screen. Importing is free. It replaces all data on that iPhone.

What happens to my data if I delete the app?

It is deleted with the app. There is no copy on any server. Export a backup first, or keep an iPhone backup, if you want to keep it.

My reminders do not arrive.

Check that notifications are allowed in iOS: Settings → Notifications → Mileage Checker. Then open the app once, so it can reschedule its reminders.
